Facility Management and Maintenance are young professions in Switzerland and the demand for qualified specialists and managers is high. Education is the basis for the profession to develop and for the industry to position itself. A large number of graduates contribute their expertise and industry knowledge to companies, whether on the supplier side or in management functions within a wide range of operations.
In order to secure the funds for the necessary professionalisation of the educational commitment of fmpro (Swiss Association for Facility Management and Maintenance), fmpro has launched the education contribution. This dedicated contribution flows into an education fund that finances the necessary resources and measures to strengthen higher vocational training in FM and Maintenance.
Currently, four well-known companies participate with an annual educational contribution in the financing of fmpro projects in the field of education. Apleona HSG AG is also one of them.
In the current and the following issues of the trade magazine "fmpro service", each of the four education partners will briefly introduce themselves. Click here to read the current article (available only in german).
